Built in the late 1950s, the ALCOA house was designed by the Aluminum corporation of America and Charles Goodman (Washington National Airport; Hollin Hills) as a case study of commercial grade, off the shelf construction materials to be used to build the carefree home of the future. Some features were modernized and rethought, but almost every square inch of the property has been lovingly updated in the spirit of the original design.
